Born in Pasay City, Philippines in 1951. Oscar worked as a Marine Engineer from 1976-1990. He traveled the world as a seafarer and found solace in art to withstand the pain and loneliness. In 1991, he returned to the Philippines for good and decided to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a full time visual artist. Oscar always wanted to express his view on the workings of the subconscious mind. His juxtaposition of incongruous image led to the formation of surrealist art pieces. Oscar founded the Las Piñas Artist Society in 2004 to help his fellow visual artist. He was also the 1st president of Filipino Artist: Realist Movement.
